Eastwell Manor, Champneys Hotel & Spa, Ashford (Kent)

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were in desperate need of redecoration and lacked basic amenities. However, the staff were polite and helpful despite the challenges of a limited crew. The location was beautiful but overshadowed by the room quality. Dining options were okay but could have been more extensive for guests with dietary needs.

I had a wonderful stay at The Manor House and Mews Cottages. The rooms were lovely, much bigger than expected, with a really nice bathroom. The service was fantastic, with staff going out of their way to ensure a lovely experience. The location was fantastic, offering great countryside views, and the dining experience was of high quality, though there were minor hiccups at breakfast. The facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable.

The hotel has a beautiful location perfect for evening walks, but with some maintenance issues. The rooms, while average with a distant location from the main areas, overlook a nice swimming pool and the manor. The dining can be slow and limited at times, although the Japanese food was good. Bar staff and waiters were standout workers, but some service issues need addressing.

The service was friendly and accommodating, although there were some instances of cluelessness. The location, while beautiful with lovely gardens, was marred by construction noise and a musty smell.
